Pain in lower back
I have a pain in my lower back right above my right hip. This pain keeps coming back at the same point if I exert or carry any weight. It's painful that I can't even sit or get up sometimes. Should I get any scan done ?

This could be a mechanical pain causing local muscle spasm. This could be due to local trauma or may be heavy exercises. The other reason could be an inflammatory condition of the joint in the back of the Hip . Known as Sacroilitis. You need to consult me through practo for a proper guide and advice

The pain is most probably due to muscle spasm caused by overuse/improper posture/inadequate back support.
Next Steps
Use a Lumbosacral brace for back support. Do not bend forward. Do not lift heavy weights. Apply warm water bags. Apply pain relief spray. Can take Tab Flexon MR 2 times a day after food for 3 days to allow the pain to settle down. Can start strengthening exercises of the back muscles once pain reduces a little. Do not go for a scan right now. Can video consult with me for detailed discussion about your condition or if you have any further questions.
