Dr Pradeep Singh
Orthopedic surgeon and pain specialist
It can be due to many reasons
- commonest is tight hamstring muscles.
- due to meniscus injury (cushion between your bone in knee joint)
- blood vessel can have some clots specially veins due to inactivity for long time in injured patients
But u don't hve any injury . And it pain like hell on standing sharp shooting pain in calf muscle , even if somebody touch it with finger it will pain very badly
. If u experince this then need to see a general surgeon .or vascular surgeon. (For that you need venous colour Doppler test for both legs.)
- it can be due to low vit d , calcium and vit b12 level.
- it can be due to spine prblm (low back prblm) specially slip disc prblm.
To rule out all this possibility you need to visit and Orthopaedic doctor and get your self examined.
