Pain below front ribs

Asked for Male, 34 Years

Hi I am having pain below front right rib .its not constant but when i laugh or cough it is paining. One doctor suggested me some medicines related to gas issue , I am following from 2 days. It didn’t help. Should i continue or there could be any other issue?

Hi you could be having an inflammation in the lining of your lung called Pleurisy. See if you have any cough and if so please do chest X-RAY. If inconclusive and the pain doesn’t go, do an ultrasound to rule out lesions in liver like hepatitis and liver abscess
