1.Suddenly last 5 days I am having severe pain in behind left knee I couldnt bend my knee properly or sitting on floor with folding leg having severe pain .Observed swelling behind and above knee too .While walking also having pain .
2. Sometimes there is pain in right or left buttock below waist nerves get harder and severe pain.Even when i sleep on bed sometimes i could not move my waist due to pain .( Is this sciatica )
please suggest me medicine and treatment for both points.

--. Avoid painful acts & activities.

Might be due to sciatica..
And coming to knee pain might be due to arthritis changes
Next Steps
Hot water bag application two times a day
Sleep on a hard couch
Change in sleeping posture
Rest for one week to 10 days
Don't lift heavy weight objects
Don't rub or massage the ointment
Don't bend forwards
Physiotherapy low back strengthening exercises regularly twice a day after complete subsidence of pain

Avoid sitting squatting cross legged climbing stairs indian style washroom etc
