Pain behind neck portion.
Hi, I am suffering from pain behind my neck portion. Sometimes its mild and sometimes bit heavier. It's been a week. I didn't take any painkiller. It happend first time in my life. I also do workout but it started after 2 days od my leave from workout. Kindly suggest some ointment or painkillers. I have tried volini but wasn't so effective. I have even stopped using pillow while sleeping. Thanks.

It may be some posture related problem.

Hot fomentation x twice daily. Neck Exercises. Neck Stretching. Postural Correction. Shoulder Shrugs . Core Strengthening Exercises. Take frequent Breaks at work Use cervical pillow.

Hello there... I understand your concern... There are many possible reasons for your pain which has to be taken care....it may be due to Abnormalities in the bone or joints,trauma,poor posture,degenerative diseases,muscle strain,shoulder joint instability,dislocation...you may require investigations like x ray,MRI etc if it's a serious issue if not nothing much to worry...Consult nearest orthopedic surgeon they will do the needful.
