Pain back after physiotherapy
I had back pain. Orthopaedic gave medicine i was much relieved. After 5days he advice physiotherapy treatment. 2 days physiotherapy pain has started like before. Physiotherapy given is heat pad. Vibration and pull by putting belt on waist. Please advise. X rays shows problem in L5

Use icing rather than heating. Do exercises properly under the supervision of Physiotherapist and continue Physiotherapy

It's nothing but inflammatory reaction rue to heating bad. Don't worry about the pain. It will automatically get reduced after 24 - 48 Hours. Continue your treatment instead of heating bad ask your treating physio to give SWD.

Chiropractic Mobilization will help. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Use ift + us + swd for relieving pain. Do flexion regimen of exercises.

Ok. Heat pad is fine. Ultrasound and ift/tens would have been better for 1st 5 days. Mulligan i.e pulling by putting belt on 1st day isnt advisable. U can tell ur physio to use ultrasound n ift or tens for 1st 5days...let pain subside.
