The presence of high points and an ill fitting crown can be the cause. If the issue is wisdom tooth related, you can also get the checked with your dentist. When there are high points, there is wear of the crown in the opposing arch too. So do get it checked.

1st : please get your crown checked for any              highpoint. That can cause the pain on biting. Also food lodgment around the crown can also cause the pain. So crown margin check also required. If pain still persist , then the Wisdom tooth extraction is advisable.
