Hi there, Yoga and meditation definitely help you to stay calm through out the day... But, we need to find out the root cause for your over thinking... Over thinking is of two types, One pondering Two worrying Pondering is positive way of thinking, you ponder upon few solutions, you ponder upon few realizations, pondering involves self actualization also.... Whereas, worrying is negative way of thinking..... Unnecessary you think more than required like what if this happens, what if this does not happen... it's a sort of repetitive thinking process again and again where you don't reach anywhere.... Worrying either you are living in the past or future and never in present... We can explore more about your way of thinking pattern and sort out things which are disturbing you.... You can have Tele counselling with me....

Work out every day... Do pranayama.... Learn few easy basic asanas and surya namaskar... Write down and make a journal on what matter you are thinking more... Check these journals of your own n introspect yourself.... Do what is best for you and seek help if you cannot handle your self.... Eat healthy Sleep well Be positive Take care....

Yoga and meditation alone do not help you to handle the over thinking habit and it doesn't motivate you directly, to gain your self confidence.. It is better to understand the reason for these and then to work on the solutions.. I suggest you to consult a therapist to handle the above issues..

I appreciate that you are approaching professionals to take guidance. I am assuming that you must be facing something tough and you are aware about it also taking care of it. There are many videos and guidelines of meditations you will find on YouTube. There are also different types of apps you can get it from your Play Store. If still you find difficult you can always approach to psychologist to balance your emotions. You can also contact me through practo app.

Hi dear thanks for your approach to us. I hope you are doing well.. Yes yoga can help to deal your problems, but I am not sure how far you have the knowledge in asanas like adhomuka swanasana, bujangasana, obviously Surya namaskara and there are different breathing exercises, I can suggest you Chandra breathing, along with normal anuloma /viloma exercise, Bhastrika and others. But PLEASE UNDERSTAND  if you are not sure of this don't do seeing Google or video, it is done under the experts. With related to meditation I won't suggest now because certain times, thoughts process could increase, more over you won't be able to focus, as you have mentioned about over thinking. Therefore you work on triggerance of thought process, reason for over thinking (what & why is making ), yes it could have been habituated after a while / certain situation. Work on yourself in different areas (explore) on expectations, career, focus and others. Take care, you can cope with counselling and therapy..
