Osteoporosis treatments
My mother, aged 65 is diagnosed with low bmd (-2.3 in legs/waist and -4.1 in hands). What are some good treatment options? An orthopedist in a leading multispeciality hospital suggested daily injections for 6/months. When I researched on it, found that it has several side effects, but the doc told us nothing on that.
