Hi a benign tumour means that it's not cancerous so nothing to worry about it. Swelling must have occurred because of the tumour so once the lesion is removed it will take some time for the swelling to come down. The recurrence , that is the coming back of these lesions is less. If it has been removed completely then it will definitely not recur. Please go for constant followups. You should be fine.
