Lower jaw can be expanded up to the extent of upper jaw because upper is a container jaw and lower is a contained jaw. Alveoli-dental expansion is possible up to any age group but skeletal expansion is not possible at this age especially in lower jaw.
For expenses you have to visit the clinic concerned.

Hello sir, expanding your jaw at the age of 21 is possible but it depends on what type of expander your gonna get and the cost varies according to that.
The braces cost also depends on what type of braces your choosing like teeth color braces or the regular metal braces. The cost usually starts from 20k -55k remember braces treatment always takes time of 8months to maximum 2 years and it comes as a package where it involves all the sitting through out the treatment and your retainer which you have to wear after the treatment.
