One side rib sticks out
One side of my mother's ribs can be felt and it seems like it's bulging out. Sometimes she feels pain while standing or sitting. I have no idea what is it?

It can be a deformity in skeletal or in muscles.It can be slipping rib syndrome. There are some exercises to fix it.... Thoracic self mobilization Diaphragmatic Breathing Pec stretching Thoracic rotation Scapular wall slide Focus on... Strenghtening of core and back muscles Stretching of rib cage and chest muscles If still pain is felt than,focus on control movement  and breathing.
