On gripe water
Can we give 1 month baby a gripe water without sodium bicarbonate? Please advise.. he was born at 36 weeks, around 1.7kg.
Now he is 35 days old and weight around 2.9

There is no need for gripe water.
Burp properly, give feed as per baby requirement.
Medicine as per your doctor for low weight baby.

Don't use gripe water/janam gutti /honey to ur baby
It's of no use
It may cause infection to baby
Hence always better to avoid.
No need to give anything except vitamin D3 drops, if baby is on exclusive breast feed.
Continue with exclusive breast feed ur baby till completing 6months of age.
It will help.
