OCD and masturbation
I am having very bad OCD since 9 months. Doctor has prescribed fluvoxamine at 100 mg at bed time and rismo ls. I don't want to take rismo ls as I feel penis erection after taking it and I masturbate. Can I just take fluvoxamine for OCD and does masturbation decreases effect of fluvoxamine?

You can consult your psychiatrist for any side effects. While ocd has proper treatment guidelines, you can also consult online to start your treatment.

You have to convey this to your treating psychiatrist. While you can take fluvoxamine Rischro ls alternatives are available which don't cause the Erection. Good day.

Hi, Yes, you can take fluvoxamine alone it is the main medicine for OCD. Masturbation does not reduce its effect. What matters is taking your dose consistently, and sharing openly with your doctor about side effects so they can adjust safely. You’re not alone this struggle is treatable, step by step.
Next Steps
Keep taking fluvoxamine daily, track your thoughts and urges, share honestly with your doctor, and consider therapy like CBT. Healing is steady don’t lose hope.
Health Tips
Sleep on time, eat light and balanced, move your body daily, limit caffeine, and practice calming breaths. Be gentle with yourself recovery takes patience, not pressure..

Yes you can take fluvoxamine for OCD and consult psychiatrist and tell about your problem so that this can be cured. There is alternative option of rismos ls if needed. Masturbation has nothing to do with the effect of masturbation.
Next Steps
If situation is overwhelming then contact psychiatrist as soon as possible
Health Tips
Avoid self treatment. Don't go deepee with thoughts regarding interaction of your medication and behaviour

You should consult a psychiatrist and discuss these side effects in details, so that a modification in your management can be done according to your body’s requirements. There are plenty of medication options for OCD which the psychiatrist can prescribe you to manage your OCD. So if these are not helping you in the best way, don’t worry, you can be prescribed other medicines. Masterbation does not decrease the effect of fluoxamine.
Next Steps
Get consultation with a Psychiatrist as soon as possible

Hii.. Any medication causing severe side effects can be withheld under supervision.. The drug effect Will not be decreased with masturbation.. There needs to be further evaluation before stopping any medication as there might be a need for dose adjustment of other drugs or using a completely new drug in place of the drug causing side effects.. Consult online for further assessment and treatment
