It is not the first line treatment for OCD. Consult a psychiatrist and get second opinion on medication change. Good luck

Try these simple things. Mindful meditation Anapanasati meditation There are many videos on You Tube. Find one guided meditation. Control your mind, do not let your mind control you. The best treatment for OCD is long term therapy. It requires you to be proactive in practicing the techniques your Psychologist recommends. These need to be practiced daily. Sometimes multiple times a day. At first they are uncomfortable. Causing your anxiety to soar. But overtime this fades and it gets easier to not practice your compulsions. This is not a quick fix. But if you start now, you will get healthier soon. Try and find a Psychologist who has had good results with treating OCD.
