Numb tongue after wisdom tooth extract
5 days before my wisdom tooth extraction is done. And still I am am feeling numbness in my tongue after 5 days. What is this issue and how it will be treated. Please help

see usually wisdom teeth are positioned close to nerve if they are impacted in bone,, so doctor goes forsurgical extraction followed by some bone drilling and stiches after it. if your tooth tips ( root tips ) are close or in contact with nerve ( mandibular nerve ) then it may be reason for such kind of numbness. out of 100 cases 90 % resolve within 1 month but some may take 3 to 6 months to recover it depends on nerve injury if any.
