Not passed motion since 9 days
My baby girl aged 3 months 25 days who is 6.4 kg exclusively breastfeeding has not passed motion since 8 days. This is after her 14 weeks vaccination which included rota virus drops. Does this has any impact? Her doctor said it's ok baby is well doing, if u want go for enema and gave neopeptine drops. We opt out enema and giving drops. Is this normal and when should I be worried Thanks

If your baby hasn’t passed stool for 8 days you need to observe the following: Is her stomach soft or hard - if hard need medication Is she feeding well Is she in pain or crying when you touch her stomach Is she passing gas/flatus If none of these symptoms are there we can wait before using medications Make sure she’s fed well and you can do some exercises like pushing her legs on her abdomen multiple times in a day which may help If the problem persist you can visit your doctor who will help you out and prescribe a suppository

If the baby's tummy shows bloating, she refuses feeds, or she has vomiting, you may need to use medication

Hi. You have to rule out hypothyroidism in the baby. If he is exclusively breast fed dont worry
