Not getting medicines
Hi. My doctor has prescribed Clonazepam 0.5 but I'm not getting it anywhere in the radius of 5 kms. Even the online stores are not selling it. Is there any alternative to it ?

It is a benzodiazepine that has to be taken for a short time as per preferably a psychiatrist's advice. You have not mentioned the reason it was prescribed! It is banned for online sales.

Hi.. yes if you have a prescription.. you can get the medicine easily. However you can try for alternatives. I will need further history regarding your symptoms to know for which reason clonazepam was prescribed for you. So that an alternative medicine can be suggested.
Next Steps
consult online for further evaluation and management

If the prescription date is over, then pharmacy will not give you the medicine without a fresh one. Alternatively you can take Alprazolam 0.25 to 0.5 mg which is equivalent to Clonazepam 0.5.
Next Steps
Consult Doctor for a fresh prescription.
Health Tips
Avoid taking Clonazepam/Alprazolam on regular basis. Better to take as needed.
