My baby girl is 11 months old.She rarely respond to our calling but she is obsessed with rhymes but whenever we sing rhymes infront of her she responds positively. Sometimes she makes eye- contact but easily gets distracted. she bubbles the world like "tata" 'nana' and always looking for things to play with and putting things in her mouth to chew.she has been watching rhymes since 5 months ( 4-5 hours/day). What to do?

Reduce screen time to less than half hour/day urgently. And interact with her as much as possible. If thats the issue , then after reducing screen time she should respond better and make better eye contact. If no improvement, overall assessment required

Please consult a child psychologist for detailed assessment. Reduce screen time to 1 to 2 hours a day even nursery rhymes. Take her out for a walk morning and evening.
The recommended screen time for children less than a year is less than 30 minutes. You can gradually start reducing screen time, engage in more verbal communication mostly in small simple sentences. Give her a chance to see and interact with other children.
