Not able to sleep due to itching

Have encountered pretty awkward problem.My sleep gets disturbed every night around 2-3 AM, a strong itching sensation arises around the genitals exactly testicles. This has been continuing for over a month now. It further takes me an hour or so to sleep. But the sleep is not of good quality with dreams continuously flooding in. I mantain strict hygiene and I am not sexually active,and I do masturbate.
