Not able to sleep along with stress
I work for an IT company so due to work pressure, I am having stress and not able to sleep well along with low mood.

Hey there! I understand that it has been difficult for you to sleep because of work stress. Work- life balance, while hard to achieve is a very important necessity. Sometimes work stress can be extremely hard to manage. Here are some steps you could take to manage sleep and work stress: Try to start your day right- A lot of times because of lack of time management and punctuality, we tend to rush to work already stressed. It is therefore important that you have good food, and ease into your mornings. Know what is expected of you - Not knowing what tasks you are expected to do at work, can be extremely frustrating. So make sure you ask around and get a clear picture of your requirements at work so that it does not become a stressor. Avoid conflicts unless it is unavoidable- - Interpersonal conflicts will exhaust you mentally. So when you have the option to stay away do so and focus on what you can do. Stay Organized - Organizing your home and workspace is a great way to reduce stress. Do not multitask- Try and take things one after another. This makes it easier to attend to one task with your full attention at a time. Keep Perfectionism in check - You do not always have to be perfect! Sometimes you should just let yourself be and sometimes the imperfect ideas are the ones that work out the most. To improve your sleep, try sleeping and waking up at the same time everyday, this will help you fall asleep around your bed time everyday. Try to do something that requires less effort like reading a magazine before sleep so that you might eventually feel bored and feel sleepy. Mindfulness and meditation is also something that is very helpful to sleep and to reduce stress. Even about fifteen minutes of practicing mindfulness regularly, are found to have amazing results.

Hi. Enjoy work. Increase flexible ways of doing anything including work. Think and implement creative  ways of living life away from conventional ways. Accept modern life with changed perspective. Make spending time with yourself as part of your daily or weekly life. Have a famiy. Explore fun amid job load

Hi. When we have too much work pressure, stress is not relieved. You need to take stress management. After taking you will be able to work with good mood. Many people come to me and take a 20 days stress management sessions. It helps them to come out of irritation, low or bad moods, distractions, poor concentration, sleep disturbance,  focusing issues, confusion and boredom etc. Get it and get benefitted. Also you must let us know if you have someother issues or its just your work pressure.

Hey,because of high demanding work we often disturb our sleep cycle and are not able to maintain a healthy routine which is pre requisite of leading a happy and healthy lifestyle.I am glad that you acknowledge the concerns and are ready to seek professional support.Because of poor sleep hygiene,we feel tired the next day which adds to the low energy level moving to feeling of low and tired.Try to maintain a healthy sleep cycle of minimum of 7 hours .If you are not able to help yourself talk to a Counseling Psychologist.A Counselor will help you in doing time management and can help you regarding your moodiness.Good luck.
