Fear of judgment is a common experience that many individuals face. As a therapist, I want to provide you with psychoeducation on this matter. Fear of judgment involves an excessive concern about how others perceive and evaluate us, often leading to anxiety and self-consciousness. It's important to recognize that everyone has their own insecurities and that people's opinions are subjective and can be influenced by their own biases. Challenging the belief that you need to please everyone and embracing self-acceptance can help reduce the fear of judgment. Engaging in self-compassion and focusing on your own values and goals can provide a sense of inner validation. Remember, your worth is not determined by others' judgments, and building self-confidence is a process that takes time and effort. Therapy can provide valuable support and techniques to address this fear, allowing you to live a more authentic and fulfilling life, free from the constraints of judgment.

Hi... Being a software developer/ coder cannot be a life instinct or Eros for you. It is just a job, a field you have chosen. Being good or bad in it doesn't say anything about your life long potential. Presently the market conditions in the IT sector are tight and extremely difficult for some professionals. Problem is that we tend to define and analyse one's potential based on the salary, package, profile we are getting in the corporate world. But it is primarily based on the market conditions. An year or two back situations were completely different. IT sector was on a hiring spree and even young professionals were getting twice, thrice of their present salaries. It was happening because a huge amount of money has been chunked into the market by world's big investors. But now the situation is completely opposite US economy is showing signs of a possible recession which is making firms to cut down on their costs by mass layoffs. You need to understand that this is not your failure and neither it was your success when you were being offered handsome salaries. This is just a skill set you have acquired over the years and you were being paid as per your competence and market demands. Do not try to derive anything more out of it. Try to seek happiness in small things in life and try to find a better pursuit if this one is no longer serving your ultimate life goals.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist. Personal Guidance and Career Counselling using Existentialist Approach is required.
