NOT ABLE TO LOSE WEIGHT
I have been trying to lose weight since more than a month now. I lost around 3 kg initially but gained it back during my periods. I have been eating healthy non fried home cooked food without any cheat days. Also I walk around 15000 steps daily in around 1 Hour on the road as well as on a treadmill. Is there anything wrong with me. I am maintaining a calorie deficit consistently but it has been of no use so far. Can this be a disease or some hormonal imbalance. Also if I am losing more energy than I am gaining then how can I gain weight. What should I do, any tests or consult some experts. Please guide.

It's great to hear that you've been making efforts to lead a healthy lifestyle. Weight fluctuations, especially around your menstrual cycle, are not uncommon and often due to water retention. However, if you've been consistently maintaining a calorie deficit, and still not experiencing weight loss, it's worth considering other factors.
Next Steps
Consult a Healthcare Professional: I recommend scheduling an appointment with a healthcare professional, such as a general practitioner or an endocrinologist. They can assess your overall health and determine if there are any underlying medical conditions or hormonal imbalances affecting your weight. Thyroid Function Test: Thyroid disorders, such as hypothyroidism, can impact your metabolism and make weight loss difficult. A thyroid function test (TSH, T3, T4) may be beneficial to rule out any thyroid-related issues. Hormonal Evaluation: In addition to thyroid function, hormonal imbalances, like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), can also influence weight. Consult with your healthcare provider about hormonal assessments if necessary. Nutritional Analysis: While you mentioned a calorie deficit, it's important to ensure that your diet is well-balanced and nutritionally adequate. A registered dietitian can help you assess your diet and make any necessary adjustments.
Health Tips
Keep in mind that weight loss can be a gradual process, and plateaus are common. Be patient and stay consistent with your healthy habits. Stress and sleep patterns can impact weight, so ensure you're getting enough rest and managing stress effectively. Avoid excessive restriction in your diet, as it can lead to metabolic slowdown. Focus on sustainable, long-term changes. Make sure you're accurately tracking your calorie intake and not underestimating portion sizes.
