Nose bone bent
I had a fall from bicycle and hit my nose with window grill. Bleeded a lot. Visited general physician and had pain killer and I was fine. However, unable to breathe from my right nostril. Visited ENT and he said my nose bone has bent and need surgery. Is surgery the only option. I am not willing to get operated. Any other alternative? Please help.

Hi there. This is Dr Satya Kiran (ENT Surgeon) from Hyderabad. As per ur history, it is deviation of septum (deviated nasal septum) because of trauma i.e fall. For symptomatic deviation of partition between two nasal cavities, SURGERY IS THE ONLY OPTION. However for ur information this is one of the basic ENT surgeries n will not have any external cuts on facial or nasal skin *Answered taking the problem is only functional and not cosmetic or aesthetic. If it is otherwise then septorhinoplasty is a procedure which might have external cuts
