Nose bleeding and blood in sputum
Two days ago i had nose bleed and just after that blood started coming in mucus from mouth it went on for few hours after that it stopped than yesterday i had very minimal blood in mucus my pulmonologist asking for ct pns hrct chest and a pet ct are they even necessary i had a mild fever just for one day

First of all if you have any past history of chronic pulmonary infection then you should go for it Otherwise in you case if it was a nose bleed contact ENT specialist and same for next event of nose bleed.

Nose bleeding could be due to a local cause ,which may have caused the mucus mixed with the blood.A single episode of nose bleeding does not require CT scan.Consult a ENT specialist in your area for a clinical examination to see the cause of the bleeding.

If you are having history of nose picking them avoid doing it Put nasal drop BOTROCLOT 3 drops in b/l nostril SOS And you don't require HRCT scan as of now Nd symptoms still persist after 1 week then first review with an ENT Specialist
