Hi, generally stopping Nexito in a planned manner after 3months of full recovery is acceptable. Your doctor would be able to advise better on how to do this.
Next Steps
Consult your psychiatrist and follow their treatment plan for coming off medication
Health Tips
Do not discontinue medication suddenly and without doctor’s advise. Ensure you have adequate sleep, exercise and eating right so your wellness is maintained for longer. Identify and utilise your coping mechanisms for any form of stress See a psychologist for CBT if needed

Nexito Plus is a medication that contains two active ingredients: escitalopram and clonazepam. Escitalopram is an antidepressant and clonazepam is a benzodiazepine used to treat anxiety and panic disorders. These medications are typically prescribed for longer periods of time, and it's generally not recommended to abruptly stop them. Your treating psychiatrist will assess your progress and determine whether it's appropriate to discontinue or adjust your medication dosage. They may consider factors such as the severity of your anxiety symptoms, your response to the treatment, and any potential side effects you may have experienced. It's worth noting that anxiety and panic disorder can sometimes require longer-term treatment and management. Even if you feel better, it's important to follow your treating psychiatrist's guidance and not make any changes to your medication regimen without consulting them first. They can help you develop a plan for discontinuing the medication if appropriate, and provide alternative strategies for managing your anxiety in the long term.
