Newborn : Pooping with smell
My son is 4m26d, he is on bottle feed from birth and was a premature birth in 8th month Below are the concerns: 1.He is passing watery potty with strong smell. (Approx 5-6 times per day ) 2. Less Intake of milk (Similac NeoSure) 3. Doctor recommended Z&D syrup for 14 days and Econorm sachets fr 3 days but we didn't see any improvements. 4. Stool test report : All Okay Pls suggest

Formula fed babies may get this cow milk protein allergy due to which they may get loose motions. In this case we need to see if we can establish Breastfeeding in baby.

Dear parents, Baby passes stool 6to10times a day or once in 3to4days is normal stool colour is golden yellow colour half solid and half watery with whitish jeera like particles are normal stool. Only criteria is weight gain after one month which is 750gm to 1000gm per month in first four month

Thank you for your question. Seems baby is having some problems though with formula intake baby can pass that type of stool no harm in it. It will be really helpful to answer your question if I can examine at least online if not actual.
