Thank you for sharing your report. A TSH level of 0.45 µIU/mL is on the lower end of the normal range (typically 0.4–4.5). If you're feeling fine, without symptoms like palpitations, anxiety, or weight loss, there may not be an immediate need to change the dose. However, since you're on 100 mcg and this TSH suggests mild suppression, you may benefit from a slight dose adjustment to 88 mcg, under medical supervision. Please consult your endocrinologist or physician to evaluate clinical symptoms along with this value before making any changes. For consultation, connect with me on Practo for video consultations. Hi, Based on what you have mentioned, you would need a dose reduction. I generally don't prefer reducing or increasing doses for someone I don't treat because I don't have a complete understanding of how you respond to dose changes. You should ideally consult your routine doctor and adjust your doses Thank you

Dear Patient,  Your TSH level of 0.45 indicates that your current dose of 100 mcg thyroxine may be slightly higher than required, as the ideal TSH range for treated hypothyroidism is typically between 0.5 and 2.5. However, dose adjustments should always be made cautiously and under medical supervision.  I recommend reducing your dose to **75 mcg thyroxine daily** and repeating your thyroid profile after 6–8 weeks to reassess TSH levels. Avoid making sudden changes without monitoring, as this can lead to symptoms of over- or under-treatment.  **Next Steps: 1. Consult your doctor to discuss this adjustment.  2. Recheck TSH after 6–8 weeks on the new dose.  3. Monitor for symptoms like palpitations, fatigue, or weight changes.  **Helpful Tips: - Take thyroxine on an empty stomach, ideally 30–60 minutes before breakfast.  - Avoid calcium/iron supplements within 4 hours of thyroxine.  For personalized guidance, I recommend scheduling a consultation with me. You can reach me on WhatsApp at **Eight Zero Zero Nine Eight Two One Three Three Two** for further assistance.
