It's actually easier than you think. Discover why you getting angry, then decide if it's worth making your partner unhappy to solve the problem. This leads to multiple Solutions based on exactly what's wrong. I'll lay out a number of use cases below. And you can pick which one or more apply to you. 1. by identifying the source of the anger and find out if it's the truth, people are subjective and sometimes it is the case that you're being unreasonable. You can solve your anger by eliminating the source of it. Sometimes the source is something unreasonable like insecurity. Sometimes it's something reasonable like disliking differing standards of cleanliness between friends or partners. Sometimes this is simple things and other times a very complex question. I invite you to explore. Learn about yourself. 2. After identifying the source, you can decide whether or not your emotional reaction was appropriate and the increase or decrease based on what makes sense. This is the step before actually doing acting physical. It's just changing how you see things and react to things. I realise this sounds wordy. But I can give an example. I used to hate waking up, I have since I was about ten. In a way I still do. When I was living with a girl in my twenties, I was told that my face was so awful to look at in the morning. I took this the wrong way of course, but after clarifying I was told of how I acted which was sullen and angry. By comparison the two girls I lived with were quite happy and energetic. I tried step one and I found nothing. It was a habit. So I decided I didn't want to be that guy who was sad for no reason. You too can decide the same. You don't get to choose what happens, but you can choose how to react. 3. If your anger is justified, change your world. So stop putting all that energy into futile feelings. Anger is an emotion that informs us of injustice, it's stigmatized due to how many times human perception gets it wrong. (Lots) Thank it for it's information, then put that energy into solving things. If that's a new job, new place to live, even new gf. Do it. It's better than being unhappy. But if everyone is making you feel angry, I'm afraid the problem is probably you and not them. In the end being too angry is usually a problem best solved within the individual. I hope you benefit from this, I have had similar difficulties myself. Largely passed, but life keeps things interesting.
