Flunil is a hood medication for anxiety however If you are breast feeding mother there are better safer medications for anxiety like sertraline. Please discuss with your psychiatrist and consider a switch
Yes you can take flunil - please do not worry. Please do take note of how your infant sleeps/signs like diarrhea and jitteriness, and keep your paediatrician/psychiatrist in the loop.
ALSO: Please note that there is no advice regarding a gap in breastfeeding that is valid. I have trained in perinatal psychiatry at NIMHANS and in our practise the universal advice we give to breastfeeding women is that a gap does not matter or affect the levels of the medication in your body which attains a steady level in your blood after a few days. So please give breastfeeds on demand. If you are still concerned about this, you can pump away the milk, but please do not worry about the "timing".
You may take it continue flunil , because suppose we consider risk benefit ratio , suppose u stop flunil than there r more risk for your self and baby that's why continue it without second thoughts
