Need proper guide
Hi. I'm under supervision of an Ayurvedic doctor for my chronic gastritis, gerd (hyper acid reflux)and esophagitis. He gave me following medicine:
1. Syrup Liv52 -DS(himalaya)
3. Amlapittantak lauha( baidyanath) -1 + sutshakhar rasa-(125 mg)
3. Syrup Amlapitta mishran (Dooth papeswar company)
But he doesn't mention next follow up.
I bought big bottles of each medicine. What should I do and how long should i continue this medicine? Please help me

Continuing may be required as per how you respond to the medicine.. Usually Ayurvedic medicine needs one week to 10 days to show action and then 3 months for complete cure... Take for 15 days and assess the improvement and consult your doctor let him about how it has helped you or how something is not setting to etc. And if it has helped you continue for another 2 months and after that slowly you can taper the dose and leave medicine by end of third month.. By then you should be perfectly fine. This is general rule. But if your problem is chronic can take upto 6 months to cure. But make sure to meet your doctor and get changes in prescription after 3 months.
