Otosclerosis is a common condition causing unilateral hearing loss and audiological examination can give hint towards the diagnosis. HRCT temporal bone can sometimes confirm the diagnosis with fair accuracy. If confirmed only treatment available is surgery and in good hands surgery has excellent outcome and she can hear normally. During active phase of otosclerosis dizziness is seen and can be managed symptomatically by using anti vertigo drugs
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
