Need a diagnosis on my bpd
Hello Doctor, I have been experiencing symptoms consistent with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and would like to undergo a formal evaluation/diagnosis. In addition, I have been unable to attend college for the past month due to my mental health condition, and my college requires a medical certificate from a psychiatrist to approve my leave. You should plan an in person consultation so that detailed evaluation regarding current symptoms and past history can be taken and accordingly diagnosis can be made

It is a beauty of psychiatry that whichever disease u study , u correlate with your own.
Thats not the type psychiatric diagnosis is made. A constellation of symptoms along with significant impairment in socio occupational profile correlates with diagnosis more accurately. Hence self diagnosis is unnecessary.
