Suffering from back disc buldge ( ls/s1) from long time and making it in control by exercises and control in posture. But from last 3 months neck pain also started but this cant be controlled by exercises and medicines. What tests can be done exactly to know what is causing pain in neck nerves and also causing uneasy while watching movies or something ( not able to be in single posture for long time). Please recommend any test or scans to know the cause of neck pain. Every doctor saying the same thing nothing happen just do exercises.. but its no use till now...
thanks

You need to find out if you have pain at rest or when you move your neck. In case you get pain while moving the neck, then find out in which position who have maximum pain and which position relieves your pain.
1. If you have pain at rest - could be infection, inflammation or trauma.
2. If you have pain when you move - find out which movement aggravates the pain. More chances of trauma or degeneration in this case.
Also please check if you feel any pain along the shoulder and your arms.
Next Steps
Get a neck X-ray done and go to a consultant orthopaedic nearby.
