Nasal Endoscopy and Black fungus
I am experiencing right side cheek pain and burning sensation from past few days. Also headache and eye pain sometimes. I am covid asymptomatic survivor Aug 2020. I met eye specialist and got my routine check including retina which were all normal. Apart from tat I met Ent doctor and they performed nasal endoscopy and even tat was normal. My query is can nasal endoscopy detect black fungus and should I go ahead and get CT scan PNS. Pls advise

This pain can also be neuralgia ..  also u had covid last year ... U have recovered very well so very less chances of black fungus ... Although follow ur doctor's advice and if he or she says mri with gadolinium enhancement can only help in diagnosis of black fungus
