My wife is pregnant.she is taking serta.
My wife is taking antidepressant medicine serta 50mg for last one year. Now she is pregnant through ivf. My question is that serta 50 mg is safe during these days. Is this will put any effect in her pregnancy.

Sertraline is considered safer in pregnancy than other antidepressants. Untreated depression itself is known to cause stress to fetus. So it is very important to treat depression during pregnancy.
