My wife has hole in the ear drum Dr suggested operation what will be the consequences if I will not go for operation. For next 1 or 2 year.

it depends on the location of hole on the ear drum...ear discharge... following surgeons precautions.... hearing loss...associated problems like recurrent cold and diabetes.
simple centrak perforations even if you delay for a year or more nothing will happen
