My son is 17 days old
My son is 17 days old and has jaundice. Today I checked with the hospital his forehead jaundice is 10.8 mg/dl and body is 14.1 mg/dl. Doctor said it will go my own. Kindly suggest what should I do and can we do baby message from mustard oil during jaundice and can I seed laddo methi and gund will it effect my baby jaundice

Jaundice will gradually decrease over few weeks. Get the baby reviewed after 7-10 days. Mustard oil isn’t recommended, you can use coconut oil for massage. But any oiling or food is not going to have any effect on jaundice

Jaundice lasts long many times. This level of jaundice is not dangerous. I hope blood test has been done once at least to confirm the level to look at type of jaundice and thyroid test has been done. Baby massage is beneficial to the baby . It can be done during jaundice. Methi laddoo has no effect on jaundice

Jaundice will gradually reduce, nothing to worry. Coconut oil massage will be good.
