For a child whose birth weight was 2.5 to 3 kgs,a weight of 9 kgs would be appropriate at 14 months of age. get your pediatrics to chart your child's growth on the growth charts.these charts are with your pediatrics or you can download them from www.indianpediatrics.net ,
Then the diet
Your child needs approx 12 to 15 GM's of protein at 14 months and 9 kgs.an egg gives 6 gms and 2 gm from milk so just add home cooked food to him give him whatever you eat at home with lesser spices.you should include foods rich in pulses.nuts.cereals and add banana to diet.a more elaborate detail can be given if you feel you need it
Then the crying at night might or might not be due to knee pain.
Hello....... Average weight of male child of 14 year old is around 9 to 10 kgs.. Why do you worry about , overweight ,underweight both causes problem.. If he is healthy that is sufficient , night cry could be due to musquito problem or something else............
