Please visit a pediatrician for assessment. There are many causes for delayed growth. Depends on your baby's birth history too.
One of the major causes also includes
1. Vitamin D deficiency
2. Iron deficiency and other micronutrient deficiency
3. Calories/ protein deficient malnutrition
4. Baby being premature at birth
There are many other causes. You need to visit a pediatrician for detailed assessment and management accordingly.

Ist of all..it has to be measured properly on infantometer.
2ndly..don't worry, sometimes babies follow lower growth curves and grow according to their genetic potential
3rdly I need previous length record as growth disorder can't be predicted based on single values
Next Steps
1. can consult me
2. follow length in next 4-6 months
3. provide adequate nutrition to child
I need to ask few more questions before answering your query.
Early consultations can prevent complications.

Child requires detailed evaluation like what was the birth length, birth weight, gestation and other issues at birth or antenatal scans
However measurement of length do vary from person to person,it’s better to check clearly with infant o meter and confirm.
