All of these are symptoms of osteoporosis & resulting nerve compression injury. Don't waste time , consult a spinal specialist, otherwise it may worsen further.
If living in Delhi-ncr region ISIC is the best option
Two things are likely contributing here. First, the pain radiating down into your thighs over the past 10 days points to a flare of your nerve compression â given your history of compressed nerve, L4 osteoporosis, and coccyx injury, this is the most likely culprit for the leg-going pain. Second, yes â statins like Atorvastatin do cause muscle aches and pains, a condition called statin myalgia. It typically begins within weeks to months of starting and can cause widespread muscle discomfort. At 10mg it's less common but definitely possible, especially since your symptoms coincide with 2 months of use. Both causes can exist together and worsen each other.
Next Steps
Get a CPK (creatine phosphokinase) blood test to check for statin-related muscle damage, along with Vitamin D and B12 levels. Inform your prescribing doctor about the muscle pain â they may consider a dose reduction or switch. Continue physiotherapy for the nerve compression. Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.
