MRI compression of nerve
Pain in neck and radiating to right arm and becomes numb. thumb is more numb. Tingling of whole hand. Doctor diagnosed as PIVD C5&6. Planned for surgery, is it advisable to go for surgery.

depending on the degree of the prolapse in Mri there are two management options one by medications and exercise other by surgical options as per symptoms you have mild symptoms send me your Mri film if it' shows major herniation then surgery is required otherwise medications and e exercise is enough
