Mouth wound
I fainted and split my lip, however I moved bits of lip around. None of it has left the pink part of the lip but the inner part of my bottom lip is swollen and it the lip part is stuck there so my lip isnt healing flat. I wanted to know if it would flatten. I went to a doctor and they put my on antibiotics, but also said to wait two weeks before they could decide to touch it or not in order for it to heal flat I'm not really sure what to do

Sometimes in such cases if you are able to reach a qualified oral maxillofacial surgeon in time , that is immediately after injury ; they can put sutures in if required . But after a lot of time has passed after the injury and the healing process has already begun naturally then might as well wait for a week or so for the healing to complete and then see how much intervention is required further .
