Mouth problem
I am eating gutka for 5 years , I am not able to eat even for less spicy and I cannot open mouth . Please give me suggestions what to do

Hi This condition is called oral Submucous fibrosis. It has happened because of gutka chewing. In this fibres are formed in your cheeks which limits your mouth opening. This is a pre cancerous lesion.

avoid spicy food Take multivitamins Take healthy diet massage your cheeks with thumb and forefinger Try increasing your mouth opening by biting on ice cream sticks with your front teeth.

Eating Gutka for prolonged periods may cause  a condition in the mouth called Oral sub mucous Fibrosis. In such a case similar symptoms will be there.. So first you have to stop the habbit immediately and consult a dentist.

You have side effects of gutka chewing  ,you have submucus fibrosis due to which unable to open mouth , but what is the stage of disease you have to consult dental surgeon in clinic .

Welcome to practo.. I advice you to take a biopsy and visit dental surgeon.. According to your symptoms, may be you have oral submucous fibrosis.. But biopsy is needed to confirm the diagnosis..

avoid hot and spicy food.. maintain normal oral hygiene.. take vitamin b and c rich foods...

Hello, According to the symptoms that you’ve mentioned, you need to consult a Doctor soon. Consuming gutka gradually decreases your mouth opening. Because these fibrous bands get deposited on your oral mucosa. There will also be increased burning sensation on consuming spicy food
