Missed abortion
Hi, I was 12 weeks pregnancy, missed abortion, Done D and C on Monday, Now i have bleeding and left side stomach pain. May I know the reason.

Following DNe you can have a little bit of bleeding for up to a week If it goes beyond that you would require an ultrasound to rule out retained products of conception A little bit of stomach pain is because uterus is contracting and reverting back to the pre pregnancy state

It is two days since you got the D&E done. Some bleeding may be there but pain or fever should not be there. Please consult with your Gynaecologist who did the D&E.

Bleeding can occur upto 7-10 days post abortion. You should get a ultrasound to ensure that abortion is complete.Take antibiotics and pain killer for 5 days
