Health Tips
Do not ignore eye redness, discharge, blurring of vision or any obvious swelling
If there is pain in moving your eyes, and there is redness in the white area also, along with some discharge from the eyes, then we can suspect Scleritis, for which you should visit the clinic for detailed examination.
If there is pain in moving the eyes, but no readiness, and if you remain on digital devices for long, then probably your eye muscles are fatigued and require rest, or your eyesight might require evaluation.
If there is pain in moving the eyes upwards and inwards, and you’re experiencing diminution of vision, then we will suspect a disease called Optic Neuritis, for which you should immediately seek treatment. (After a fundus examination at the clinic)
Next Steps
Review the three scenarios explained and seek help accordingly. If the problem persists, kindly visit the clinic for a proper eye checkup.
Health Tips
Avoid too much of screen time. If it is necessary (because of profession or studies), then follow the 20-20-20 Rule, which says that after every 20 minutes, close your eyes for 20 seconds, or look far away at 20 feet distance.
