Mild pain in lower centre abdomen
Hello, I am having a mild pain in my centre lower abdomen. I can feel the pain when I touch that area. Last week I had an upset stomach and nausea which went for 3 days. Pl suggest how to relieve the pain and what can be the cause of it.

Lingering tenderness after a stomach bug often points to residual gut inflammation, but a persistent, touch-sensitive spot after illness still needs a direct look to rule out other causes. Stick to bland food, avoid pressing on it repeatedly; if pain increases or fever appears, seek urgent care. Book a private consult so I can examine your history and guide further testing if needed.

Mild pain in the lower abdomen after a recent stomach upset may be due to temporary intestinal inflammation, a urine infection, or a gynecological cause. Stay well hydrated and eat a light diet. You may take Tab. Meftal-Spas if required for pain (unless contraindicated). If the pain is crampy, persistent, or worsening, a clinical examination may be required, along with investigations such as a urine routine examination and, if indicated, an ultrasound abdomen/pelvis to identify the underlying cause.

Mild lower abdominal pain after a recent stomach upset may be due to residual intestinal inflammation, muscle strain, urinary infection, or a gynecological cause. Stay well hydrated, eat a light diet, and you may take paracetamol if needed for pain. If the pain persists, worsens, or is associated with fever, vomiting, burning urination, abnormal vaginal bleeding/discharge, or severe tenderness, consult a physician promptly for examination and further evaluation.
