Mild Abdominal pain with vaginal disc
Hi all, I had cerclage at 20 th week since my cervical length was 2.1 cm. I am currently in 30th week of pregnancy. I have taken betnesol injection 2 days ( taken on day before yesterday - 19th December and yesterday - 20 th December) as prescribed by the gynaecologist. But from yesterday I have been having mild abdominal with vaginal discharge. ( not sure if it because of betnesol) . And when I am lying down for some time with my feet elevated, the pain is getting reduced. When I consulted my doctor she has prescribed Fentin and pre&probiotic capsules for infection. She also gave me Dydrogesterone tablets Ip 10mg. But I am already taking progesterone injection 250mg once a week and projesteron tablet 200mg twice daily or all . She has also asked me to take Dydrogesterone along with them now. But won't it be high dosage?. Should I go for second opinion

I think you should go by your doctor's decision. She better knows your case as she has examined you

Hi. Your doctor is doing all that is needed to delay a preterm labour. Trust your doctor. Each week you push will be good for the baby. Though it’s ok to get occasional contractions once in a while during this period make sure to visit your doctor if you develop warning signs
