The advanced stage of stress is depression.
If a person faces prolonged situations that he perceives as stressful, he is likely to develop depression. Also, if a person is depressed, he is likely to perceive even mildly uncomfortable situations as stressful.
Stress is a trigger and depression is a response.Stress management consists of techniques, practices and psychotherapies that help individuals to reduce the levels of stress, depression and anxiety. It could be a treatment for chronic as well as mild stress victims, which might change into something devastating if not paid attention to.
You might want to visit a clinical psychologist who can teach you stress management techniques (incl relaxation, time management, sleep hygeine etc.). They can also evaluate if you require some medicine for a short time

Hi
Definitely stressors are the major causes. A short course medication may help you....you may practice JPMR a relaxation techniques for the same.
