Hi The dose and duration you mentioned are unlikely to cause dependence and withdrawal symptoms so you can stop this suddenly but if you feel some discomfort then taper it in next few days

To withdraw a medicine you must Consult your Psychiatrist who prescribed it. According to your clinical conditions medicines are prescribed , if you are better,  then may be possible to stop it

If you're feeling any withdrawal symptoms, kindly visit your psychiatrist again. Do not self-medicate, or take medicines longer than prescribed. Most importantly, do not stop medication without consulting your psychiatrist. In addition, please visit a Psychologist/Psychotherapist to further help with the withdrawal symptoms as well as the reasons why your doctor put you on Xanax. Hope you find the help you need.
